Hiya! My name is Ilan (like the city Milan, but without the 'm'), and I am thrilled to join Goodland Chiropractic as a massage therapist. I grew up in Florida, where I studied massage from a young age. I went to massage school at night while I was attending university. I found my real home when I moved to California after college. And I found my home all over again when I moved to Santa Barbara.
My massage lineage comes from Rolfing and the Core Myofascial technique, which I often combine with traditional Polynesian rocking, cranial sacral therapies, and chakra based energy work. This combination tends to create a meditative deep tissue session.
I view each session as an opportunity to learn, to untangle a confusion in the muscles. This makes each session unique to the moment and your specific needs. As a lifelong student, I am honored to learn with this community.
