Moon Gatherings

Moon Gatherings are intentional community events centered around the energy of the lunar cycle—especially the New Moon and Full Moon. They’re a space to pause, reflect, connect, and explore what’s coming up for you in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Whether you’re deeply familiar with moon phases or just moon-curious, you’re welcome here exactly as you are.

Why We Gather With the Moon

The moon has long been used as a tool for reflection, awareness, and growth. Each phase offers a different kind of insight:

New Moon

A time for:

  • Setting intentions

  • Planting seeds

  • Clarifying what you want to call in

  • Turning inward

Full Moon

A time for:

  • Reflection and awareness

  • Releasing what no longer serves you

  • Gaining clarity and perspective

  • Honoring growth and progress

We use these moments as gentle check-ins and opportunities to pause, realign, and reconnect with ourselves and one another.

What to Expect at a Moon Gathering

Every gathering is a little different, but you can generally expect:

  • Astrological Teachings & Educational Moments
An explanation of the current moon phase, the Zodiac sign it has landed in and how these energies affect us as humans. Accompanied by themed activities that correspond with the teachings.

  • Community Connection
A welcoming, low-pressure space to gather with others. Sharing is always optional.

  • Inclusive & Comfortable Atmosphere
All identities, backgrounds, and levels of experience are welcome.

  • Moon Journals Provided
Each attendee receives a moon journal to use during the gathering and continue working with at home.

  • Guided Journaling Prompts & Reflection
Thoughtful prompts designed to encourage awareness, clarity, and self-expression.

  • Healing & Affirming Space
Time for release, grounding, and self-compassion—without expectations or judgment.

  • Warm Beverages
Usually hot chocolate or another comforting drink, depending on the location and season.

  • Fire Pit and Intentional Burn Practices
When available, we gather around a fire pit or similar elemental centerpiece to create warmth and connection. Burn rituals may be used where participants safely burn written intentions or releases. Bringing what calls to us into the universe and we let the moon handle the rest.

  • Fun, Expressive Energy
These gatherings can be enlightening and emotional, but also lighthearted, silly, creative, and joyful.

What Can Happen

Moon Gatherings can be:

  • Enlightening

  • Grounding

  • Emotional (in a good way)

  • Clarifying

  • Healing

  • Expressive

  • Affirming

  • Fun and lighthearted

You may leave feeling more aware, more connected, or simply more yourself.

Come As You Are

You don’t need to believe anything specific, have any experience, or show up in a certain way. All that’s required is openness—to yourself, to the moment, and to the community around you.

We gather to reflect, release, set intentions, and remind ourselves that we don’t have to do it alone.
